I think that some students arrive not really understanding just how different New College is. Or how small. Some are not quite mature enough or self motivated. And for some, a change of major requires a transfer to a college or U that has the courses needed.

According to my D, she is studying harder than ever and that the profs expect a lot. Already one student she knew from her HS is dropping out.
