I love NJIT as an academic institution but I'm a little worried about social life. I live only 20 minutes away and I don't want my fun to be at home. So what's the deal here?
Not sure myself as i don't go there. In fact any info from students on NJIT seems hard to come by. Out of the public University's in New Jersey only Rutgers usually gets any mention. I have seen opinions ranging from "NJIT is amazing" to "NJIT is the worst school, area, education"... then again doesn't every school have people on both sides?
i'm going to njit this fall also. i got really sad when i heard that njit kids don't have social lives and they just sit around and play video games.. i do NOT want to spend my college years that way! i wonder if they have any parties at njit
