Got the same question. For me it's based on Film. I'm not sure which major you're going for.
Seems like it's much easier to get into Brooklyn College's Film major only because, I was talking to a person from Hunter, and you're required to take prereq courses and basically have declare your major at Film in your second semester there on the basis of passing those prereqs. I haven't seen the same for Brooklyn. I have also heard that Brooklyn's good for film but I was looking for more experimental film courses and they don't have that, nor do they seem to have more options within their Film najor the way Hunter seems to. On the Brooklyn site they list Television/Radio as one major and Film as another, whereas Hunter seems to encompass that in it's Film and Media dept. Not sure if Hunter has Theater Productions as a major or as courses the way Brooklyn does though.
