I got a University Day letter? Someone help.

ok I got a letter today saying I was invited to University Day for Sunday April 9th. All the letters you got appear to be different. Also mine said something about the Gallatin School of Independent Study or something. My mom just read it to me over the phone.

What does this mean?!

If you were planning on applying undecided, maybe you accidently checked Gallatin as your major choice. A lot of colleges have elaborate names for their undecided programs, like "Exploratory [College, Studiest, etc], and clicking on the "school of individualized studies" while thinking it was the undecided program isn't too far fetched. Or, maybe Gallatin randomly saw your application and liked you a lot, so they want you to go there.

I got an invitation today too...the University Day Reception for CAS...i called the office (I had to hear it for myself) and the lady said..."Although the office isnt allowed to release anything until decision letters are sent out, some selected applicants received invitations and its safe to say you'll be getting some good news soon"...mines on April 9th, I'm assuming they cant have all admitted students on campus on the same day..
