same here no1mtsn. BU art school is giving me around that as well. it's just that tisch has been my dream forever, and now that i FINALLY got in...idk what to do because it's so expensive.
made in china I was in the same situation - they just ended up sending me an email to call them back. I called them back the next day and they told me!
and as for fin aid, since it's waitlist, I'll bet we'll be even less satisfied
yeah...ive heard of people doing that. nyu isnt likely to match but schools can def. be bargained with.
bubbly--schools can't (well say they don't) discriminate against applicants who need financial aid. as for people that are waitlisted...you are likely to get as much as money as if you would have been accepted regular. Obviously we're not going to be getting merit scholarships or anything like that because we wouldnt have been waitlisted.

Maybe not in schools like Stern and CAS, but I think it could be possible for Tisch. Afterall, portfolios are half of the battle, and I think that is what actually held me back for so long. Either way, I'm extremely happy. This is the first school that I applied to as a freshman that I got into.
