can stern students receive school credit from internship?

I'm looking on the careernet site and im seeing a lot of different internships require the student to receive school credit in lieu of money. so does that mean the position is off limits to stern students? is it still worth a try?

You can jump through a whole bunch of hoops to get it worked out, but it's not easy. I think I've only heard of one person who's done it..

That said, if you want a Stern-type internship (ie, finance), most should be paying you something.

yeah it is quite difficult, but can be done. your counselours may even tell you it cant be done, but dont listen to them. you will have to coordinate it with scps and get the elective credit from them. but yeah, youkosiren is right, you should be able to find something paid as a stern student.

No real point to doing that, you have few credits as it is. Unless you're desperate to graduate as early as possible.
