Okay so I applied to NYU Tisch Film & Television early decision. Do you think I'll get in?

GPA: 3.65 from a private academy. very difficult school, our regular level classes are like an honors or an AP in comparison to nearby public schools. 100% of students go onto college. colleges will know about this in the school profile sent with the app.
My school does not rank.

SAT: 660V, 640M, 750W = 2050

Outstanding teacher recommendations, one from the Math Dept. Chair and one from the Art Dept. Chair, who also attended NYU Tisch.

I thought I did a great job with the personal statements, especially the poem. Pretty good essay, I wrote about how I've been making films since I was 10 and how its something that comes naturally to me.

ECs - (non school affiliated) Classical piano 10 years, Flute 8 years, Dance 11 years, Trio 3 years, Jazz piano currently. (school affiliated) President of my school's Photography Club, Soprano II Section leader in the 16-person Honors Choir this year, Orchestra 3 years, Key Club all 4 years, Art Club.

Honors & APs: Completed: Honors Alg I, Honors Geometry, Honors Western Civilization, Honors AlgII/Pre-Calc. Currently: Honors Physics, AP Calculus, AP Psychology.

I've taken every art class offered in my school except for 1 that didn't fit in my schedule this year.

I've done 2 summer film programs with the School of Cinema and Performing Arts. In 08 I did the regular film program and in 09 I did the advanced film program, earning 3 AP credits administered from LIU.

I am really proud of my portfolio, especially the film I submitted. I feel they will be really impressed with the film. The dramatic writing was somewhat new for me, but I got some help with it and i think it turned out pretty good. I had to make the font size tiny on my artistic resume to fit everything, all the music and art I've been involved with, my photography has been shown in some art shows, my summer film programs, etc.

What do you think???

Oh, and ps, my mom is an alum of NYU
