If you had the opportunity to spend one day in New York City with a famous New Yorker
I am stuck on this one. I would seriously like to say Olivia Palermo, but I don't think the admissions officers would appreciate that. All of the famous New Yorkers I can think of all work in the fashion industry...

What have other people put? I need some inspiration!

BTW, I am not going to "steal" anybody's idea. That would be stupid and obviously bad for my application... I just want to know if people are using fictional characters or real life people... And how much of a "risk" people are taking

I'm doing a person related to fashion since I want to work in the fashion industry. I'm doing Grace Coddington, the creative director of Vogue magazine. She's an absolute inspiration to me.

: ) nope. I did my college essay with a fashion angle as well. As long as it's not all based on THe hills and the city and that sort of thing like Lauren conrad, then I think it's okay.

yeah. all my NYCers would be fashion people. specifically Anna Wintour or Grace Coddington...i even considered Gisele...
