Race on application

I understand your race could be one of the factors that could help you get into collage ( because u would be considered a minority. I was wondering I am of Indian origin is that going to help?

Hi! This group is for non-traditional students, meaning students that are over the usual age for college students (usually defined as 26+) and/or are returning to college after a long absence, or attending it for the first time as older people. You will probably get more answers to your question if you post to the larger admissions board.

First, I second the above.

Next, at universities in the U.S., a underrepresented minority is usually either a Native American, black, or latino. Indian students have, historically, been very well represented at major universities.
