Why doesnt anyone post here. It seems like a good school and I am thinking about applying here. It seems like a friendly atmosphere and they have a good athletic program.

Anyway, I'm not sure if my numbers are good enough to go here so I'll put it breifly.

3.05 gpa....I have an 89 average so it could be higher on a different system.
I am Hispanic
I do volunteer work
One sport
Expecting to get 1600-1700 on SAT

G-U-NOT, State is a friendly place. There are lots of regular kids there, not pretentious. You could probably get in depending on your choice of major. I would say you are probably not a good candidate for the College of Engineering because it is one of the biggest and most competitive majors to get into. Other than that you prob. have a good chance. Look at the NCSU website and see if they offer what you're interested in studying. You can always apply to First Year College if you are undecided.
