I'm pending now... Got a 4.75 with straight Bs this semester which brings my GPA from 3.7 to 3.86. 1390 SAT. What are my chances for engineering and how long does pending take?

pending status means that you are deferred for final notification (I was deferred for UNC) - basically you will find out on the regualr admission schedule... =[ I know it sucks b/c i'm waiting on UNC

Mine says Your application for Fall 2007 is currently pending additional review. We appreciate your interest in NC State.

Caroline90 said hers changed very soon to something else. Does that mean my additional review will be very soon or will I have to wait for a long time?

hmmmm.... actually you might not be in the deferred pool - i've heard of this situation before where other admissions officers review your application; so, you are def. still "in the game"

Thanks. Yes it is. I really want to do engineering. Mom made me do UNC as well, and i somehow got deferred. Thought I'd get rejected.
