Pre-registered courses

Are students able to change the courses they are pre-registered for if they feel they belong in a different course or want to take the course at a different available time?

Yes, you can drop/add courses from your home computer. My S was preregisterd for Calc. 2 but decided to drop back to Calc.1. He dropped Calc.2 and added Calc1.
After theFall semester started he decided he didn't want to stay in Calc. 1 so he dropped it (so no math Fall sem. of freshman year) and then re-registered for Calc. 2 for Spring Semester. It's not a problem.
