AP-ing out of Physics, good or bad idea?

Have any engineering students AP-ed out of PY 205 & 208 and live to regret it?

My S APed out of Calc. 1 and went on to Calc. 2 and did OK. He took both Physics 205 and 208. He thought 208 was wayyy more difficult than 205. He had the same prof. for both courses and didn't think he was a very good teacher. If your S is worried about needing some Physics refereshment, maybe he coud just skip 205 and take 208.
