sat writing

my sat grades went M:660, CR:630 and W:510
i know my writng score is pretty low do u think this will effect my application for the engineering college greatly?

Also, on our application when we select our intended major in engineering does automatucally appl us for the college of engineering?

Lastly, how do we go about sending our transcript in? Is there a transcirpt request form?

Thanks!!

good scores. No, I doubt it will affect your application greatly. From the engineering undergrad admissions info:

"SAT scores in the 1170-1350 range (on the original two-part SAT, critical reading and math) or ACT scores in the mid-to-high 20's. Students are required to submit new SAT scores with the writing component, although that score is not used extensively in the admission decision at this time."

Sorry, I'm not sure exactly what your asking in your second question, but on your application, you choose your a major (if its in engineering, you either put a specific area (civil, ect) or engineering undeclared. They will review it for admission to the engineering college.

Your transcript (Highschool) needs to be sent from your school, at least thats the case with mine. Contact your school, and have them send your official transcript.

Hope this helps

Your SAT scores look pretty close to mine (higher than mine in cr/m but lower in overall -honestly though yours would look better to admissions board). What really matters to admissions is just cr and math...

you'll be fine

If you get invited to join the University Scholars Program, do it.
