Grocery store?

How easy is it to get to a grocery store if you don't have a car?

momhippo, there are stores all over campus called C-Stores that are convenience stores that really do have a lot of things kids need (milk, toiletries, frozen dinners, etc.). When my S lived on campus he bought a lot from the C-stores even though he had a car. It was just more convenient.
There is a regular (privately owned) convenience store across Hillsborough street (main road bordering NCSU) that is easy to walk too. Also the campus bus system (the Wolf Line) goes all around Raleigh to lots of destinations so it would be easy to catch the bus to a grocery store.
There is also a small shopping center (Avent Ferry)right across Western Blvd which is the other main road that borders NCSU. It is close enough to walk or bike too. There is a Food Lion further down that is prob. on the Wolf Line bus circuit.
