We've exchanged emails before, Packmom. Much like your son, mine is interested in Engineering and an NROTC scholarship. He has taken the toughest courses his school offers including about ten IB and AP courses by the time he is done (currently a junior). He's gotten all A's and B's so far. He just took the SAT last weekend for the second time. He scored a 1270 (M and CR) the first time but did better on CR than M. I think that will change this time. Anyway, I just didn't want him to apply Early Action if, for some reason, his odds were much better with RD. Thanks.
