It is actually quite easy and even easier after your first semester. All you have to do is go over to Caldwell building and go to the CHASS department office. they will give you a form for you to sign and for your Biological Sciences Department to sign you out of their department and then you are a member of CHASS. It might be easier to transfer to CHASS after your first semester because all they require is a 3.0 gpa and you are automatically in, if you do not get a 3.0 then it becomes a mess because you are then going to need some pre-reqs and such.
I am not sure if you can transfer out of high school so you can ask them if you can transfer immediately.
