Dorm Question

I've just sent in my resident application a few days ago and I wanted a few questions answered. I thought the application was a bit short (but I dont know how other colleges tend to do it).

Would you say that you and your roommate (freshman year) were pretty compatible (based on your application answers)?

I have applied to these LLCs in order from greatest to least: Multiculturalism, Community Service, and Leadership.

I hope that living in a LLC will provide a greater learning environment.

Thanks.

My roommates and I were very compatible freshman year, and for the most part, I think housing does a pretty good job. There are always going to be people who hate their roommates, but room switches are pretty easy if necessary.

CAS Undecided here =)

I'm pretty excited and I hope I figure out what I have a passion for after freshmen year.

yay i lived in the multiculturalism LLC this year.. it was a good time haha. our RA was pretty cool and we always had great food for one night every week, which def was a nice change from dhall food. i know at least for the multiculturalism LLC, you're in a suite, so you could have anywhere from 1-3 diff roommates depending on whether you apply for a double, triple or quad. suitemates are a diff matter.. i had 2 other suitemates since i lived in a triple, but my friends in a double across the hall had 4 suitemates (3 double rooms in a suite). i thought my roommates and i were pretty compatible. one of my roommates actually had the same bday as me, it was cool, and one of my suitemates and i ended up becoming really good friends. if worse comes to worse and you really cant work things out with your roommate(s), you can always change rooms but def try to work it out first or talk to your RA about it.

If you turned in your deposit really late (I'm not sure how late April 30th is), you might not get the multiculturalism LLC if it's full. So instead of getting the crapiest suite, you might be put in stetson or something.
