| I frequent the UChicago boards, as I will be attending there next year. But, as a resident of Chicago, I occasionally pop my head into the forums of a university not far from my home (Northwestern) - and a rival of the university I will be attending.
I noticed that two of the people who posted have turned down acceptances to the University of Chicago for Northwestern. I was wondering not only why you turned down the U. of C. but also why you applied to both schools (and what you found more enticing about Northwestern).
I did not apply to Northwestern, as the UChicago is my first choice and a school that provides the academic intensity and intellectualism I want. Of course, both schools are top notch academically, though socially they differ immensely.
So, why Northwestern? |
