Business-The Kellogg Certificate

Does anyone know if you really have to be a math oriented person to be interested in the Kellogg Certificate? I heard that it is really heavy on the math and less on the non-math aspects of business. If this is the case, are there any other options NU offers for non-math oriented, but business interested undergrads?

There's a business club - I think it's called ISBE. There's also the Business Institutions minor and Chicago Field Studies. Also, look into the courses for Industrial Engineering/Management Sciences (IEMS). They might be what you are looking for as far as "business" courses go.

ISBE is pretty cool. when i went to Preview, the girl at the booth for it said that ISBE was the reason she got a highly selective internship freshman year. its really good idea for someone who wants to network as much as possible.

I've heard (from the Dean of McComirck actually, he was my professor winter quarter) that in order to do the Kellogg certificates as an engineer you've had to have taken both honors calculus and honors engineering. I think it's a very good opportunity, but expect it to be competitive as hell.
