Can anybody answer this?

Are you assigned a freshman seminar on a "first-come, first served basis" or does it not matter when you turn in your Top Ten preferences?

Those that turn in their list before the deadline are assigned their seminars based on their lists, with no preference to those who turned it in early. Those who turn in their list after the deadline, (or, really, dont turn in their lists), have to pick from the seminars that aren't full after everyone that turned things on time have been assigned.
