Partying at Sargent?

Is it there? How much less intense is it than partying at Bobb/Elder? What about McCulloch?

Sargent tends to be very quiet. There are usually plenty of engineers. I had a friend who lived there this year, but it is definitely not even close to as chill as Bobb-McCulloch, where I lived. Also to clarify things, Bobb and McCulloch are attached, so if you are on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor, it is pretty much like a big circle with the two sides attached. If you want a true amazing freshman college experience, live in Bobb-McCulloch.

Yeah, Sargent isn't known for partying. In my opinion, it should be known for being a terrible dorm. The building is relatively old, the rooms are small, and the halls are ugly.

That said, I'd rather live in Sargent than Bobb-McCulloch, based upon the type of characters who live in each dorm.

If you want to drink alcohol irresponsibly in dorm rooms, surround yourself with ****** bags, meet attractive but often insecure girls, show disrespect for authority, escape the influence of religion or traditional morality, and generally engage in debauchery; while not minding a run-down building filled with residents who dirty the community areas and bathrooms and vandalize property on a regular basis, and who will show little, if any, signs of respect towards you, then Bobb-McCulloch is your best bet. Sure, most Bobb-McCulloch residents are pretty civilized, but their influence isn't felt. It's the twenty or thirty percent of rabble rousers who define the character of the dorm. Particularly the sophomores who are in fraternities.

If you want to keep a moderate amount of this stuff, but have lots more civility and a much more friendly, intimate Freshman dorm experience, then Elder is your choice.
