my interviewer said he heard a rumor that they were pushing decisions to late april? i almost cried...i hope it's not true

Late April? Now there's something new. I really doubt that they'd push decisions to late April because most colleges will have their decisions out by late March-early April. It's really not to Northwestern's advantage to send decisions that late.

There's no way they would announce decisions in late april and demand for a response by may 1. My bet is that they release decisions on march 31...but thats really just a guess

No the admissions office told me they are sending them by the end of march. Some international decisions have already been dispatched

I really hope we find out by this Friday, seeing as how I'm leaving that evening for spring break and thus having no access to the internet or my mail. Having to wait an extra week would drive me insane.

But if you're a domestic applicant in Kentucky, how could you find out on this Friday if the letters are mailed on this Saturday?

Based on what I have heard, I would expect domestic applicants to get their letters about the 29th (assuming they are mailed on the 25th). what am I missing?

The online decisions come out before they mail the letters, you can check online on whatever day the decisions are released and you'll get your letter a few days later. I think the date being debated is the online release date and not the day letters are mailed.
