anyone gone to the site and not gotten in? i got the congratulations message, but i'm still skeptical... remember their "test" from earlier in march when they set the "you're in" message up on everyone's account? i think they wouldn't want a repeat of the kind of crisis that ensued, but maybe i'm a little too paranoid. i guess i'll be looking foward to my phone call (hell yeah)!

i maybe joined just to reply to this post.

i'm committed to vandy right now but checked the site and it says i got in. i really hope this is legit, because they aren't allowed to crush my dreams twice. northwestern was/is my top choice so i really hope i can go! but ahhhh i'm so excited!!

i just called the office of ugadm and the guy there said that i should have received an email on friday telling me that waitlist decisions have been made and posted online, but i didn't get one. so he just checked for me anyways, and he says definitely got in!

mrchipmunk- nice haha. i am pretty excited for vandy...right now. but if i can go to nu that would be like the best thing ever.

totally off topic, but I got a better story. A neighbor kid graduated Stanford and was accepted to Stanford Law, wait listed at Yale and Harvard. While he was driving back north to Palo Alto on a fall Saturday, Harvard called and said classes start Monday if you want it. He jumped the first plane to Boston and had to buy a set of clothes until his folks could retrieve his car at SFO and ship his stuff east.
