* Research: only 50 hours now but hope to have 75-100 by application time. Doing research on protein-protein interactions in plants that could lead to cures to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's .
* Essays: Workin' on em, will be reviewed by college mentor and Duke admit among many others
* Teacher Recommendation:Great, im sure one from Academic coach and one from AP english teacher which I have "out of school" relationships with both.
* Counselor Rec: Great, he likes me
* Additional Rec: I'm not sure but I will choose wisely if need be
* Interview: I can't imagine it going bad

Life Story (lol): I was born in India and moved to Chicago at a young age. Has moved around a bit but ended up in a rural hell-hole in Texas. I still have a bunch of family in Chicago and visit every year. I LOVE IT.

you've got a really good chance. NU likes the hard-working kids for sure-it's shows with your hard classes and APs. Definitely apply ED if you're sold and it's a pretty sure thing.

I heard NU tracks interest like visits. I have made an official visit. Does this also help (or solidify, lol) my chances?

I visited CHicago this summer, and I did make a visit, but with people that had already attended the university, not an official visit. Therefore this will hurt me?
