Hi mt7~My fingers are crossed for you!!!!-NU's Theatre program is GREAT!
Say, I noticed you have been going back and forth between Brown & NU. What tipped the scale, if you don't mind sharing?

Well... I visited Brown for a second time and sat in on two acting classes. Although I'm sure the major is great, I was underwhelmed by the two classes I saw, and I guess I just decided that I want a more structured, intensive theatre program. And when it comes down to it, the Northwestern BA program is probably the top one for liberal arts schools.

Looking for Clarification

When you say applying ED for "theatre" at NU, what does that mean? Is it applying to the School of Communications, or something else?

And, how competitive is it, vis-a-vis the regular liberal arts program there?

Thanks!

I mean applying specifically as a theatre major to the School of Communications.

It's definitely more competitive to get into than say if you were applying to Weinberg, but I'm not sure exactly what the acceptance rate is.
