| Accept a Non-trad CC Transfer?
I've been told that it is nearly impossible to get into Northwestern as a transfer. Anyone have experience or knowledge to share on the topic?

IL comm. college sophmore
AA or AS in Spring
3.75 GPA
Phi Theta Kappa
Student Government, Vice Prez Green Living Club,
National Competitive 09 Summer Research Internship
IL Riverwatch Citizen Scientist
Sierra Club chapter member/volunteer -Solar Energy info/cirricula project coordinator
Volunteer at school for "behaviorally challenged" -working to implement IL Riverwatch program
Non-traditional- 35, single mom, poor
Haven't taken SAT or ACT's yet- scheduled
They are doing research at Northwestern that I really want to be part of (if afforded the opportunity and academic support, I could offer some amazing contributions!)
Was planning on going into Enviro Law...but have been feeling the pull towards Cognitive Psyc/Communication Science, but only if I can get into the "right" research school (Northwestern, Stanford, ?)
