yeah dec27 congrats on getting in. I'm one of the many who got waitlisted. Definitely still want to go there tho. I had about your stats, but i guess thats the randomness and the little extra something that you cant really account for that colleges are lookin for.

I got in EA and was pleasently suprised.

ACT - 34
SAT - 2140
GPA - 3.6 unweighted
Rank - Top 30%

I go to a college prep school in Detroit. I'm a white non-catholic female. My last name is very Irish .

Summer - Conducted orthapedic research, wrote a paper, and presented it at a symposium at Brown. Coached at a soccer camp.

Work - I've had a steady weekend/summer job for the past 3 years.

Activities - Travel soccer since I was 8, 4-year varsity soccer starter (State champs 2004, Finalists 2005/2006, Senior Captain), 4-year ultimate frisbee team member (Senior/Junior Captain), 3-year varsity volleyball, Editor of Literary Magazine, German student exchange participant.

Other - I've done some community service, have a majority honors schedule, and have had poems published.

I can't wait for this fall!

Hey guys,

I was admitted EA to ND as well and, though it wasn't my first choice for the longest time, I'm so excited for next fall.

Since y'all seemed to have pretty similar scores, I was wondering if you were named ND Scholars or if you know the criteria for it.

Here's a brief synopsis of my stats; i thought this would qualify me as top 20%, but I'm also well aware of what's out there:

SAT
770M
750V
720W

SATII
700
700
700

Class Rank: 3%

I'm also not an URM or a legacy and I'm from NY.

See you guys soon!

that's kinda odd, i had 750 math 740 verbal, 710 writing, school doesn't rank but def somewhere in the top 3%, also from NY, no legacy/urm, and i was named a scholar, so i would've thought you'd def be named one.
