Glynn Family Honors Program?

I need someone's opinion. I got into ND early action and I'm going to Reilly Weekend in March. Last week I just got a letter last week asking me to apply to the honors program at ND. However, I'm not sure whether or not I'll like it. I've worked really hard in high school and scored well on the SAT, ACT, and SAT II. In college, though, I don't want to overwork myself. One of my main goals in college is to get a 4.0 so I can go to a good med school. Will the advanced level of this honors program lower my GPA?
