It appears that ww0077 was accepted at Notre Dame as she started a thread asking about the student's e-mail address and the room dimensions.

Yes! She made it! We have been on a cloud ever since! I was shocked for a good week and could not stop crying. There was never any more activity on this thread so i thought no one would be interested in whether she got in. It's so nice of you guys. I feel like she had always been under-rated so it was so gratifying that such a fine school would appreciate her. We got back from Indiana a week ago and needless to say- she is definitely attending. Thank you all and good luck!

Congratulations! It's little late to help you but I was 100 percent sure that your daughter could make it. Compare to your daughter, I had lower grades in every aspect and still made it to Notre Dame and BC. For example, I had 3.7 unweighted GPA (I was ranked top 30%), 2130 SAT score (34 ACT is wow... really high), no awards, never been a captain or president, bad EC (I did something that everyone else would do, like working at hospital etc), and fewer AP courses (I had only 5 in calculuc AB and chemistry) . Once again, contratulation to you and your daughter

My daughter is put in waitlist, she has over 3.90 GPA and ACT31, lots of awards.Does she have chance to get in?

Gosh, my D is a senior this fall, and I had no idea ND was that tough to get into!!!
Mine has about no ECs at all--just band. (she has spent umpteen hours on fanfiction.com critiquing other people's story endings and writing her own story endings--she is going to have to use that as an EC or volunteer work!) Her GPA is 3.6 now (taking the hardest classes, but zero APs), and she's at a 'elite public high school' so ranked in USNWR, and she so far has 2170 SAT and 30 ACT, but she is retaking both. She is also going to be a Natl Merit Finalist, if that makes any difference, which I am doubting.
This is just dismal!!!

My daughter got off waitlist at Notre Dame. We are so happy for her.
