Social Science Requirements

I'm a photography major and one of my gen ed requirements is one of social science. on the tisch page it just says: Anthropology, Economics, Politics, Psychology, and Sociology)

My counselor also said that there are other classes included in social science. Can someone PLEASE tell me where i can find these classes. Shouldn't there be a guide that says what classes are in what category? I've looked everywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
NYU Freshman

There used to be Societies & Social Sciences specific classes, similar to Con Wests, World Cultures, and Expressive Cultures, but they recently did away with them, and instead, you take almost any anthropology, econ, politics, psych, or sociology class.
