I would like to know as well.

Traditional-style or apartment-style?

Which is nearest CAS, etc?

All the freshman dorms are close to the main campus, so no worries. Apartment-style dorms are the farthest away, but by "farthest" I mean an 8-minute walk to CAS, and that's not exactly far.

The dorms around Washington Sq are Weinstein, Hayden and Goddard. Rubin is on 5th Ave, a little quieter and kind of isolated, but still fairly close to Washington Sq. 3N tends to be filled with Tischies because of its arts-related Exploration floors, Final Cut lab and its proximity to Tisch (3-5 min walk, depending on traffic).
