IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII know. I checked last week and all the auditions with advanced dance are filled up. I was really upset. Oh well.

The advanced dance spots are NOT all filled up. There are availabilities on Feb. 18 and Feb. 25. The artistic review with the advanced dance component is always ONLY available in NYC.

Opranoodlemantra....I am just curious, if you don't mind....just so I can make sure I learn about this more...

Here is what I know...
Auditions for RD applicants for Tisch are held during the month of February. There are several dates in NYC at NYU in Feb. If you want an optional advanced dance audition date, there are just two and ONLY at NYU (not Unifieds) also only in February. The auditions held off campus in other cities (no dance) all seem to be in the month of February as well. Can you explain where you are auditioning in March? Had you wanted a dance audition but were not planning to audition in NYC in the first place? Because dance auditions can only be in NYC and as AlwaysAMom mentions, are not filled up.

Sorry i wish i knew more about this. I heard that you can only audition for CAP in NYC so I just planned to go there. They have an audition day in march which happens to fall during my spring break so i am going to go then. Yeah i thought that all the dance auditions were filled up, i guess not.

Oooooh ok. I got it. They only have auditions for transfers in march, i kind of forgot to mention that i was a transfer student. All of the auditions for transfer with dance are filled up.

( But you can audition in SF it says. Hmm i didnt know that (my stupid friend who's in atlantic said i had to go to nyc, sneaky). Anyone know how to change an audition date?

You should never rely on someone's word for this kind of information. These audition dates fill up quickly as you can see!

Always check with the school directly. The MT audition with advanced dance component is, as I said earlier, ONLY available in NYC, so you wouldn't have been able to do that in San Francisco anyway. The San Francisco dates (same with all the regional auditions) are in February only, though, so if you're looking for March, you're going to have to go to NYC. You will have to call and see if you're able to change your reservation. They state on the site that all reservations are final. I'd call ASAP if I were you.

and whoever said you can't audition for cap in any place other than NYC is wrong (hopefully) because I signed up for an MT audition in Chicago...

I agree - Chicago is fine for Tisch musical theatre (CAP 21).

i think that person meant with the dance portion...(idk if you can do that elsewhere...but i thought there were few other options elsewise...as i did mine with dance in nyc)
