| I could be wrong but I do not think you can request housing this soon. While my daughter was not an ED applicant last year (applied/accepted for RD), ALL the incoming freshmen did their housing requests in June, if I recall. In fact, she is rooming with a friend from our state in CAP who got in ED and they did their requests at the same time. She also had several other prior friends who got into Tisch ED who also did their housing requests when she did in June. The only difference for the ED kids was that they get first dibs in the housing...their requests are satisfied first, even though all their housing applications go in at the same time as the RD kids in June. My D was able to ride on the coattails of her ED roomie and they got their first choice dorm. You are asked to list your fisrt through sixth choices if I recall (well, at least five ordered choices anyway).
As far as the Net ID thing.....I have a vague recollection that it was not activated until some time had passed after they received deposits for enrollment (which took time to process) so that is what may be holding it up. Be patient a little longer and give your deposit a few weeks to process (remember there was a holiday) and if you can't sign on after that, call and inquire.
