If you DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT MEANS IF YOU DID NOT GET AN INVITATION THEN DO NOT READ THIS... I work in the student affairs office and handle calls about these invitations all the time and this is what I was told by one of the members of the student affairs' staff. Please, please if you just want to wait it out and see what comes in the mail do not read this!

If you applied to Drama or Film and did not receive an invitation then do not worry you still may be accepted. These 2 programs are the largest in tisch with over 200 incoming students in Film and over 300 in Drama. If you applied to any other program and did not receive an invite then you were not accepted... the other programs at Tisch are so small that the recipients of Saturday at the Square invites are actually the entire admitted class to said program. I hate to burst the bubble for people but I feel that the college admission process is agonizing and as a freshman I sympathize with all of you guys so I thought I'd just post this so that you could have peace of mind.
