| Alwaysamom,
I'm not sure if I have the right person or not. I believe the young man I spoke of has the initials F.M. and I can't remember his last name so I couldn't tell you his third initial. There were two young men in her group at Strasberg who really stood out. I honestly don't know the other one's name, and I should, as he is in her production company. He had dark hair and a voice that was absolutely stunning. Obviously, since Susan's D was involved, Simon very well could have been from another studio. I believe my D's friend could possibly have been Judas, but once again, am not positive.
Still wish I had been able to see it as I love that JCS; just hard to justify a trip to NYC when D is in Buenos Aires. |

| Theatredivasmom,
Your son's friend, F. M. H. played Judas and is from Strasberg Studio. He is very talented and played Cinderella's Prince in the fall GAP show of Into the Woods. I believe he will be doing CAP21 studio next year (as you know you can apply to another studio after two years of primary studio).
AlwaysAMom, thanks for your kind and supportive feedback. |

| Soozievt,
You have the right person, thank you for the final initial. I didn't know he was going to go over to CAP21, but am not at all surprised based on his talent and I believe that is the path he wishes to pursue.
Still wishing I could have seen JCS.....
Thanks for the reviews, something is better than nothing |

| Cap has a website but Urinteown is not up on it yet. The site is www.cap21.org. There are also mainstage shows that have been announced....dramas and one musical....the musical is a brand new one and will be work-shopped in the fall semester and produced in February.
Mainstage:
Galileo (Brecht)
Saint Joan (George Bernard Shaw)
Only Children (new musical by Graduate Musical Theater Writing alums Michael R. Jackson and Rachel Peters
The Visit (Friedrich Durenmatt)
I Have Loved Strangers (Ann Washburn)

| I heard 3rd year Cappies are doing Into the Woods. I thought they'd do something different since it was a Gap show last year... |

| Really? Are you sure? My D has not mentioned that and I wonder if she knows. I will ask her. I recall her hearing a rumor of a different show perhaps. But yeah, ITW was a GAP show last year and she was the MD for it. She already has been in this musical before as Little Red. A few kids (Cinderella, Grandma, a stepsister off the top of my head) from their year at CAP21 were in the GAP production if I recall. However, many in that production were from older CAP21 years or other studios, so maybe they feel it doesn't overlap that much for the actual students involved in each production. Well, I'll wait to hear! |

| By now, my D likely has heard as well (and today is the first day of classes also). ITW has been one of her favorite musicals of all time. I haven't spoken to her since I read about it from RossJi's post. I knew of the other shows. |

| Urinetown Can you tell me how to get tickets for Urinetown? Do you know when they become available? I think there is usually limited seating? |

| OK - just ordered my tix online. But my d won't even be in the show; she totally lost her voice and auditions are this week! GAAHH!! (She was supposed to sing for her new voice teacher today, and as of last night, she could only whisper).
What timing..... |

| OK - so I have 5 tickets for the Oct. 27 matinee of Urinetown at 3 p.m. - I only need 2. Anyone need any tix for that date/time? Or better yet, willing to trade me for 2 Friday night tix? I don't know if they're sold out yet, but I know they will be soon. Every other show sells out, so.... |
