I am seriously thinking about ETW for the fall but I have some questions?

what academics do i have to take?
is it through college of arts and sciences?
what are the double major/minor options?
study abroad possible?
chance to do MT if not in CAP21?
can i take voice for sure?
what about some dance classes?

what is a studio day like for ETW in the primary years?

ok, sooo lots of questions ... im just nervous to committ and its getting so close to May 1st ... any info ASAP!!!! would be great

I called when i found out that i was in there and someone got back to me right away. He said that its usually against policy to change you out before your junior year. But if you go for the first two weeks and are absolutely miserable, then you can change. I can't remember his name. But he told me that they only had about three people this year who actually hated their studio.

Has anyone here gone to or a current student of Strasberg studio? I auditioned for CAP but got Strasberg. I just wanted to know the specific classes I'd be taking. I know that Strasberg offers dance and music but exactly how much?

I believe theaterdivasmom's daughter is in Strasberg.

Strasberg Studio
NOCCA Junior,

My D is going to be a Senior at NYU in the fall. All I can say is that she has really felt that Strasberg has been a good fit for her and she has been very happy there. She has had many excellent opportunties and when her father and I have been out to NYC to see her in productions we have been amazed at her growth as an actress.

In addition, from a social perspective, she has made many, many wonderful friendships. She also seems to have made some great connections with professors/teachers in her program, also. She has loved NYU from Day 1 forward and plans to stay in NYC upon graduation.

Congratulations on your acceptance to NYU and your studio assignment to Strasberg.

person who wanted to know about the closest dorm to Adler: none of them are. But most people walk there everyday and don't mind it.
