Has anyone done the summer teen program at the Adler Studio?

I'm wondering if any of you (especially those who have gone on to attend NYU/Tisch) ever did the summer teen acting program at the Adler studio? Five weeks, it looks really good.

I did the 5 week program in the winter which is basically the same as the summer program, but less intense. It was amazing and I learned a lot. And I'm going to Tisch in the fall! I also did the summer 5 week program at Strasberg and loved that also

Hi, I'm new here, but i've read through a lot of this VERY helpful site, and finally found a question I wanted to ask,

regarding the summer program, does anyone know how admissions is decided generally? i don't think i remember seeing anything about an audition on tisch's website, so I'm guessing they rely on academic records and personal statements? Also, does anyone know how competitive it is?

Thanks for your help in advance. I'm currently a high school freshman/sophomore, so I've got a bit of time before college..haha. But I was looking at things I could do, and Tisch sounds very exciting and rewarding. (I'm also considering the Northwestern Cherubs program.)

I have a friend who did. She enjoyed it a lot and it was a good experience, but it didn't revolutionize her acting in the same way as when she attended Tisch.
and re: the Cherubs program, I've heard people LOVE it and HATE it.

..i was wondering , in the past few years, if the program accepted rising juniors[so current sophomores] ? I know they give preference to juniors but does anyone know any sophs. who were accepted and went?
also, do you apply to a certain studio, or do you submit all your info and then they place you somewhere based on what you've given?

wait, gerado, are you talking about nyu tisch or the stella adler program now?

for tisch, you submit your info which can include a studio preference if you have one, although it may not be honored, and then they place you based on you.
