Would a student with SAT CR of 710, Math 680, Writing 700 and 3.5 GPA pass academic muster if accepted atristically?

I would think so, yes. I have known kids to get in with less impressive SAT scores (especially in math), for what that's worth. Best of luck ... good news may well be on its way!

I think that should be fine. I was recently accepted to Tisch Drama (through that inviation everyone is talking about). I had a 2012 SAT with CR 740, Math 620, writing 640, a 3.77 Weighted GPA, and a 3.55 unweighted.

So keep your hopes up. A friend of mine had about the same scores as me, didn't get an inviation and got into the school in April. Good Luck!
