Oberlin is a bit larger than the typical LAC. Does it still offer the intimate classroom settings and close relationships with faculty that are the strengths of the LAC?

Yes, emphatically. The student/faculty ratio is comparable to that at smaller LACs, as is average class size. As an Oberlin faculty member, I can say that my working relationships with students are my primary reason for teaching at Oberlin.
