I took a look a few days after this was raised on June 22. As of that time, his page was still up on the Oberlin web sites, including the Athletic Department web site. His LinkedIn profile indicated no new employment (and, in fact, it hadn't been updated to show he was no longer the AD) and no press release speaks to his departure or his hiring elsewhere -- apart from the press releases noting that there's a search and the appointment of an interim AD. There's certainly no great rush for the parties to distance themselves from each other or disavow the relationship. I pried enough to conclude that there's nothing gossipy or juicy here.
