I'm wondering what some of the really strong departments are Oberlin are. Besides music, what is it really known for?
I don't really have a great idea of what I want to do or go into, but I have a vague sense, and I'm pretty sure I know what I don't want.
I'm just wondering because this is one of the things that is harder to find out about schools, because their website is going to say they're amazing at everythings.
The departments at Oberlin are strong overall, but some of the strongest and most popular departments include English (including creative writing), Classics, Politics, Environmental Science, Art History, Neuroscience, East Asian Studies, and Religion.
