Thank you so much for your help!! I really appreciate it!! I actually don't need to stay on campus during Winter Break--just Spring Break. Also, I won't have a car, so getting to a hotel might be difficult, but I'll definitely take it into consideration. Thanks again!
OSULolz- I'm having trouble contacting the financial aid office. They seem to always have me on hold even when I call at 9AM when they are open. I was wondering if you could answer my question to some extent at least until I am able to get a hold of them. I was wondering what the PLUS Loan is about and when does interest accumulate. As well as when does repayment start? To my understanding from the website, it says that repayment starts after that year. I was wondering if there was a loan or multiple loans that would cover all my costs for tuition/room & board where I would be able to start paying them off once I graduate. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You have been helpful in a previous reply about all of the places to purchase books, so thank you. A more basic question may be, where/how does S find a list of the books he will need for his classes?? Is it somewhere on Buckeye Link in the Student Center? HELP!
Thanks, as always, for any direction you can provide!
I have several questions for you that I'm hoping you'll be able to answer .. as your help will be greatly appreciated.
I'm going to be applying to OSU as a non-traditional student. I'm 25 yrs of age and have never went to college before. I worked once I got out of high school, and am now looking at going to college and getting my degree. I'm wondering what are the application requirements of non-traditional students ? Do i fill out the same undergraduate application online ? Because that's what I was in the process of doing. I was reading somewhere that it said SAT/ACT scores are not required if you've been out of school for 2 or more years ? is this true ? .. is the writing score required for me to send in ? I know that I'll need to contact my school to send my transcript, but I'm wondering if I need anything else. Do I send in my application, then contact my school to mail my transcript? or should I contact my school to mail my transcript, then send in my application? I'm applying online btw. Just wanna make sure they have all the documents at once.
Is the college prep form required for me to send in ? (it's been so long since I been out of high school, I feel it would be silly to go back and find my guidance counselor to fill it out)
The transcript I know I'll need to send in.
Are SAT/ACT scores needed for me ?
and finally, is the writing exam score needed as well ? since I believe that's included with SAT/ACT
If you have any specific information on what's needed for a non-traditional undergraduate student to apply please let me know.
And also do you think it will be difficult for me to get in ? or are non-traditional students considered as part of diversity?
Do you know when FALL 2013 applicants will be allowed to apply ? Because that's the semester I want to apply to.
If I were to apply for WINTER 2013 and I got accepted .. but I wasn't ready to go until FALL 2013, does that mean I would need to re-apply?
Hey, I am moving in to Scott House on North Campus in August and I was just trying to figure out what all we need for the quad. I was also wondering what all comes in the bathroom. Do we get a towel rack and shower curtain and all that good stuff? What are the things that we will definitely need?
Packalldwy, I took 151 on quarters and it was pretty difficult. Attaining an a is certainly possible but will require a large amount of work. The majority of the class was exams that don't just test what you know. There are quizzes that cover concepts and are easy, but the exams are usually abstract problems that require application of previous knowledge. The average on the exams was a 60-70 percent and there was no curve.
