    • Teacher Recommendation: Excellent. I've known this teacher since sophomore year and she loves me. Never got under a 90 in her classes.
    • Counselor Rec: Definitely good, I know him personally and I'm one of his 'favorites'.
    • Additional Rec: Should be good, I saw it and it had some "average" marks though.

    • Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Hook, ACT score, a heavy senior course load.
    • Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Southern Illinois University Carbondale (accepted). Still waiting on UChicago EA and University of Florida.

I'm expecting to get the National Buckeye Scholarship and maybe another one, making it cheaper than my in-state options. AND I'd love to go back to Columbus (my dad graduated here as well, and we lived here for like 7 years)! GO BUCKS! Hope to see everyone there next fall :D

@afrojack: Michigan's my top choice but with the tuition being my only reservation too! I've seen you posting on both this board and the PSU one. Seems like we're in the exact same boat with all this college stuff. Ironic.

@TSA; more like coincidental! I live in the state of Pennsylvania too, which is the only real reason why I applied. I don't have much interest, though... I kinda want to get away from my high school but last year, around 80 kids went to PSU. I can't wait to hear back from michigan though
  • TSA1818TSA1818 Posts: 26Registered User New Member
I totally agree about wanting to get away. Maybe coincidental is a better word, but we're definitely in the same boat.
  • afrojackafrojack Posts: 210Registered User Junior Member
    What's your second top choice?
  • TSA1818TSA1818 Posts: 26Registered User New Member
Probably OSU. I like Maryland too, but I think I need to see it again. It was the first school I saw so I didn't really have anything to compare it to.
  • SilentkinkSilentkink Posts: 92Registered User Junior Member
Ugh mine still says evaluation, and I applied in mid September, the waiting is killing me. How much longer will I have to wait?
