| Loved it My D attended last summer and loved it. Just tell the kids to expect the days to be long, challenging and fun. They need to eat well, don't skip meals.
The first two days/nights are very long with auditions lasting near or past midnight. THere is usually so much talent that there are two, three and sometimes four callbacks. Very talented kids do not end up with major roles.
My D said the food was sometimes good, sometimes off but that breakfast could always be counted on for a good start to the day.
Believe me, my D would be going back this summer, but she has to work quite a bit to help pay for college at OCU! in theatre.
In short, the kids will love it. The teachers are great, the show was first class (go see it) and the program is easier on the budget than some of the higher-priced ones in the Northeast. |
