Winter Online Course for Transfer

I want to take a general education course online during winter. I can't afford to take it from my college - I want to take it elsewhere and transfer the credit. Where should I look? Any advice?

Look to a local communmity college and state colleges because online courses are expensive. Unless you go to a private school, your current institution is probably going to be your best bet.
