Are you considering or did you recently start to attend a private for-profit college?

Hi,

First off, let me say this isn't an advertisement. I'm a graduate student at the University of Washington and I'm studying how students make choices about college. I'm currently working on a study that focuses on students who choose to attend private sector colleges such as the University of Phoenix, Walden University, Ashford University, Argosy University, Kaplan University, and many others.

Study participants will take part in two 45 to 60 minute interviews and receive some modest compensation for their time (a $20 gift card per interview). As an authorized researcher at the university I will guarantee full privacy and confidentiality to study participation. If you live in western Washington we can do in-person interviews if you like, but otherwise it will be OK to conduct interviews over the phone.

If you're interested and willing to learn more, please contact me. I also have a survey (see link below) where you can provide some basic information about yourself to determine if you qualify for the study. If you've never been part of a university study before, I encourage you to give it a try - it can be a very interesting experience.

Thanks,
