Top Graduate Schools that offer distance learning

I looked through USNews ranking and found out the following schools have distance learning in Engineering. This might be useful for whoever want to go to grad school without having to leave work/home, while still get prestigious names printed on their diploma

Stanford
GeorgiaTech
UIUC
USC
U of Michigan (only 1 degree offered)
UT Austin (only 2 degrees offered)
Texas A&M (only 2 degrees offered)
U of Washington
Columbia University
Pennsylvania State University
U of Maryland
Rensselaer polytech
Arizona State

That is a good list. Another resource for graduate engineering degrees is affiliated with the American Society for Engineering Education - Learnon.org - Search Thousands of Engineering and Technology Courses. Almost all the schools on the Learnon.org website are public universities ranked as "National Universities: Top Schools" by US News and World Report.

Thanks! Very good info, I wish someone did this before I applied to grad schools (I literally went through the list of top 100 engineering grad school one by one to search if they offer any on-line degrees)

umm, the list is not all inclusive though. I couldn't find USC , Purdue , RPI and Columbia on it

Well, I wasn't implying that Learnon.org is all inclusive. Nevertheless, the site provides more reputable options on one page than simply typing "online engineering graduate degree" into Google.

What about Carnegie Mellon online? I think it's about CS, not sure about engineering.

yes, CMU offers MS in Software Engineering online, but you have to find 5 more people within your organization to apply and get accepted the same time.

Their online MS Information Management doesn't have such requirement. I believe both CMU MS-SE and MS-IM programs are ranked top in the nation, probably on par with Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, UIUC or cornell

The list is good enough but I see some of the top Online Degree institution missing, like: DeVry University, Colorado Technical Online University, Ashford University. It could be more complete with these leading Online Degree providers listed too.

Any such list that includes degrees from other non-engineering fields such as psychology or economics?
