Online Masters in Computer Information Systems

Hi,

I am interested in pursuing an online Masters degree in Computer Information Systems. An emphasis in programming or DB management would be ideal. My undergraduate degree is in CIS from a Cal State University. I have also thought about a Masters in Computer Science and I am willing to take the necessary prerequisites. My goal is to become more involved with programming/database Mgt (my current role is mainly just systems analysis). Does anyone have any suggestions?

As some others have mentioned in other posts, I am looking for an existing Brick & Mortar school that has been around for awhile (University of Phoenix type of schools are definitely out). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

CIS info

I had the same problem when trying to find a reputable brick and mortar school like you mentioned. After logging on to a Federal website, there was a list of the top ten schools that offer online degrees, and I started investigating.

After much study, I chose Fort Hays State because of the programs they offer that are heavy in CIS. They also offer Cisco academy and Microsoft certification programs.

You should check out the University, as it accepts all Fin Aid and is extremely reasonable, one of the best costs in the country.

Good Luck.
