| First of all, you should try to learn English phonetic to see how fun it is. It's really nice to write with "phonetic" script so no one can understand what you write if they can't read the phonetiques. Why don;'t you take an introductiory course? You should also get some Noam Chomsky 's books to read this summer. ( the linguistics ones) . There are also plenty of other good linguists out there. I will look for a linguistic book and give you the title. It's writen by a teacher at U . of Michigan. I haven't read it myself but I heard that it's great. |
